Stud

The seven-card stud game is a casino type game where players seek to win the best hand out of the rest of players. In the game, players are individually dealt seven cards through the entire course of the hand. But players need to make the best five-card hand from the seven all while against other hands in the game. Stud game can take a long time to master, though it’s still a popular game, coming only second to Teen Patti, according to the Betway survey. Stud is also played with a standard 52-card deck with two’s low and Aces high.

Baccarat

While a staple at American casinos, baccarat is still a game of mystery to many, as it’s long been the game of the “whales.” But even so, baccarat needs no skill; it is a game of pure luck. To play this game, eight (sometimes, six) 52-card decks are shuffled together and dealt from the shoe (dealing box) tat releases a single card at a time, face down.

Blackjack

Blackjack is the fourth most popular casino card games today, according to the Betway survey. In the game, the dealer begins at the first base and waits for the player to deal their hand. One has two cards facing up in front of their bet. To play, they’ll first need to get the sum of the two cards and get a hand total of anything between 4 and 21.

Pai Gow Poker

Is a version of Chinese pai gow that’s played with cards rather than dominoes. The game uses a standard 52-card deck, plus a single joker. Six players plus the dealer sit around a long table. The players strive to beat the banker (who can be the dealer or another player or a dealer-player team). Pai gow is slowly, but steadily becoming popular in Casinos, and ranks at number five in the Betway survey.

3-Card Poker

3-card poker is a popular game that’s played as heads-up between player’s and dealer’s hand. Once all ante wagers are placed, each player and the dealer gets three cards. The players can either fold or proceed with the game putting a “play” wager equal to their ante.

Omaha

Also referred to as Omaha hold’em, Omaha is a community card game where the dealer distributes four cards to each player, and the player must make their best hand using two cards, plus three of the five community cards. It is more like the Texas Hold’em (which we’ll discuss later on in this article).

Let it Ride

Let it Ride is a variation of five-card stud poker. The simple poker-based game is played on a table similar to the blackjack tables. In the game, three cards are dealt to each player and two face down to to the dealer.  Unlike other casino games, Let it Ride is played at a relatively relaxed pace, making it appealing to older players.

Texas Holdem

Texas Holdem is a popular variant of the card game of poker. When playing this game, each player is dealt with two cards facing down. Then follows a betting round where one can Check, Fold or Bet. Texas Holdem ranks number nine in the Betway survey.

Jokers Wild

Last but not least is the Jokers Wild. Jokers wild is a unique game that’s played with a deck of 53 cards that includes a joker. The game starts by drawing five random cards, with the players having a choice to decide which cards to hold or discard. Those they discard are replaced by new ones and used to create a winning hand.
